Alexandre is an independent photographer represented by Hans Lucas. His work is focused on social, environmental, and fashion themes.
His photos are published in many newspapers and magazines such as Liberation, Le Monde, Elle, L'Obs, El País, and more. He offers immersive reports in very different environments. His empathy for the subjects he photographs and his ability to integrate himself allow him to create strong connections that open doors to new stories. "Through my photos, I try to capture the fragility that emanates from the faces I see. I like to feel the tension that a gaze provokes; in a way, it's my relationship with the other that I photograph."
Alexandre is also a film director. In 2012, he studied film at the prestigious Catalan institutions CECC and ESCAC in Spain, Barcelona, where he directed his first short films, including "Heroina" in 2015, which was selected at many international festivals, and "Transmission" in 2017, presented at the Contemporary Art Center of Barcelona. He now creates fashion videos and is working on his first documentary feature film, "Un air de bonheur," and his first animated short film, "Veille qui vaille."
In 2022, he participated in the photojournalism training program "Transmission" offered by the Studio Hans Lucas, which he later joined.
